Harmony Hess's Advice:  Go for it! We need more women in all science careers.
Q: How did you choose your major(s)?

A: I knew I wanted to teach or be a dentist.

Q: What aspects of your college program(s) did you like?

A: size of classes, esp. 300 - 400 level classes (MTSU has a great biology dept. staff/faculty)

Q: What aspects of your college program(s) didn't you like?

A: lack of equipment and outdated equipment.

Q: What aspects of your job do you enjoy most?

A: Students - challenge of making it relate to them and making it fun!

Q: What aspects of your job don't you enjoy?

A: Lack of respect and pay from the state, paper work that keeps me from the more important things.
