| Welcome to Success Stories of Women in STEM (Science, Technology,
Engineering or Mathematics). On this page you will find information about
women who have graduated from Middle Tennessee State University in STEM. Each
of these women has discussed their careers, problems they have encountered on
the road to success, and tips/advice they have for women entering the field. |
- Ada, Mary Beth Rogers : I am the senior programmer for a company in St. Louis, MO called American Multi-Speciality Group, which is a number of physician offices in the St Louis area. I create and maintain the software that they use in their offices. This software does everything from their financials to admission of patient's to placing orders and send and receiving labs.
- French, Rica S : Doctoral Candidate and Assistant Instructor at the University of Texas at Austin (I teach introductory college-level astronomy to non-science majors while I'm finishing my PhD in astronomy/astrophysics.)
